Graduation weekend was altogether lovely: perfect weather, joyful celebration, and an uplifting commencement ceremony. My friend Hannah and I threw a party the night before and a couple hundred folks came. Professors, families, and friends gathered to eat, drink, dance, play music, and talk the night away. On graduation day, Newark, NJ Mayor Cory Booker delivered an outstanding commencement address (I cried), our president was endearingly nerdy, and I got a tan line from my cap that continues to adorn my forehead. There was much merriment.
